We are located on the sunset side of the island, just steps from sandy beaches + stunning lagoon, and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. We have everything on site to make your stay magical, from a pool to cool off in on hot afternoons to a BBQ and dining area so you can cook up today's catch. Close by the property there are a number of lovely restaurants, and we have easy access to the airport and main town of Avarua with it's popular market and shops. Welcome to The Cooks Oasis, the best-kept secret of Rarotonga and the ideal destination for your island getaway. Feel at home in one of our nine recently upgraded villas ranging from studio style to one- and two-bedroom units, all designed with your comfort in mind. Our villas are self-catered and nestled within a small and vibrant tropical garden, only moments away from a picturesque sandy beach and clear blue lagoon.

Neighbourhood information

The Cooks Oasis is just 60m from a stunning beach with incredible snorkeling and breathtaking sunset. The reef is nice and close to shore so seasonally, you can see humpbacks breaching right out front! We have 2 of the islands best restaurants within 100m and easy access to general stores, the hospital hill hike and merely 10 minutes drive to main town of Avarua. With clockwise and anti-clockwise buses running from the end of the driveway, it's easy to get around and explore our beautiful island.
