There's an architectural inheritance from Germans who settled the area in the 1850's. The all-wood, shingled houses give PV a unique European look, different from most of Chile. Lucky to live in one, we invite travelers to see inside and stay here.
Your hosts are Teresa & John. Teresa (Santiago) has been enthusiastically assisting travelers all her life, first with an airlines and now in hospitality. John (Indiana) has lived overseas most of his life and traveled extensively in Patagonia Chile.
We're zoned City Center yet we're outside the commercial district. It's the most interesting neighborhood and quiet, yet everything is within easy walking distance e.g. great restaurants, cafes, pubs, lakeshore views toward volcanoes among the Andes.

Based on s, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional Value Added Tax of 19%.

Please note that for tax exemption foreign travelers must pay a rate stated in US dollars and must present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country.

Foreign business travelers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile.

VAT is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

A prepayment deposit may be required to secure your reservation. The property will contact you immediately after you book to reconfirm the reservation and provide deposit instructions if required.

LOCAL TAX LAW.

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%

To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
