Hi - I'm Lin Lin and my husband is from the UK. Together we designed and prepared Secret Moon. We look forward to warmly welcoming you and helping you to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Property information

Free parking onsite if you're coming by car. The house itself is a traditional Bai-style courtyard farmhouse, modernized internally but retaining the original wood and stone feel. There is a very pleasant garden with mature trees to relax in and stay cool during hotter days. Two of our rooms have modern wood-burning stoves to create a lovely warm atmosphere in the evening. There are fine art prints painted by the owner's British husband's sister. The atmosphere is part Japanese tatami, part traditional local Bai-style and part English country garden! A great base from which to explore Dali.

Neighbourhood information

Traffic-free location close to the lake: We are situated in a quiet traditional local village just 8 minutes walk from the lakeside and very close to the well-know Shan Shen Island, with its very popular photo-opportunity lakeside cafe. The Ancient town of Dali is a short distance away, by taxi or e-bike around 17 minutes away. You can also cycle along the the lake shore on the bicycle path and then to the Old Town - a very pleasant trip.
