Our staff is 100% local people. They are very friendly people and as locals they know the pacific coast of Costa Rica very well. They can help you to arrange any adventure trip, ziplining, rafting, transportation and even a private dinner.

Property information

Enjoy a perfect stay in the coastal mountains of Costa Rica. Casa Cali is located in the Portasol Community; an eco-friendly, private community sitting in 1300 acres of Costa Rican rainforest, with private swimming holes and waterfalls, stunning scenery and trails, and just a short drive from beaches. You’re also close to the Manuel Antonio and Marino Ballena National Parks, as well as popular surf towns Dominical and Uvita. (Note: a 4x4 vehicle is required to access the Portasol Community).

Portalón is the name of the Costa Rican village where Portasol is located. If you want to discover a real Costa Rican town this the place. the closest beach is Matapalo Beach. The five elements in a Costa Rican town are: Soccer field, church, school, the supermarket (pulperia in Spanish), and the bar.
