The house is located in the Ujarrás valley, near the bridge of the dam and lake of Cachí and the ruins of Ujarrás(one of the oldest in Costa Rica).You can enjoy near by places: Tapantí National Park, the town of Orosí, viewpoints, the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes (active at this time), Lakester Botanical Garden and the excellent gastronomy off the area.Rest in the peace of the countryside with beautiful views of the mountains, hiking and bird watching.
This country house is decorated in a traditional style. It has one spacious bedroom with a king size bed and two nightstands. The full bathroom has a shower and all the amenities. The kitchen is full equipped with fridge,coffee maker, rice cooker and everything else you need to prepare delicious meals. The house has two corridors where you can relax and enjoy the view.
Ujarrás is a village and historical site in the Orosí Valley of Cartago Province in central Costa Rica, southeast of the provincial capital of Cartago. It lies near the northeastern bank of the man-made Lake Cachí, created by the damming of the Reventazon River. The dam lies adjacent to the village. The village is connected to Cachí, on the other side of the lake. Ujarrás is located in a deep valley northeast of the town of Orosí, on the banks of the Cachí Reservoir. The valley of Orosi, which is crisscrossed by many rivers and streams, has coffee and flower plantations. The other landmarks near the town, apart from one of the oldest churches in Costa Rica, are the Cachí Dam, the Tapantí National Park (part of La Amistad WHS) and Lankester botanical gardens.
