Pazifico Hotel Tropical is located on the main road to Playa Avellanas, surrounded by tropical forest and only a 10 min walk to the beach. The bungalows were built by an Italian family thinking of the climate of Guanacaste so it has high ceilings and is very comfortable by European and North American standards, even in some parts of the house there are 220 volt outlets. Located on a 5,500m2 property, these bungalows are for those who love nature and want to get away from the crowds, bath in the blue waters or even take surf lessons at an uncrowded beach. The nature that surrounds the house is one of the most special features of Pazifico Tropical Villas as there are leafy trees that play host to iguanas, a wide variety of tropical birds and even the local howler monkey crew who on occasion provide an amazing areal circus act! Our Villas are designed to offer the best in comfort while immersing you in the surrounding jungle just a ten minute walk to the beach.

Playa Avellanas, the most beautiful white sand beach in Guanacaste, provides excellent conditions for both swimmers and surfers alike. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and excellent for families, children and those travelers seeking an authentic experience, and never ending natural vistas. An afternoon of shopping or night out in Tamarindo is also only 20 minutes away by car or taxi. Playa Avellanas has 5 excellent restaurants including one of the country's most famous in Lola's beach front restaurant as well as our favourite "Il Rustico" an Italian fine dining experience including excellent food and warm and attentive service. For the golfers in the group, just 15 min from Playa Avellanas, lies the Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course offering a challenging course and breathtaking ocean views. Local wild life attractions and more extreme activities are very accessible making for an easy day of adventure and easy trip home.
