Located in Playa Pelada, Casitas Escondidas is a gem in the jungle with many activities available in the area. Casitas Escondidas is located at the end of a dead end street, set well back from the dry season dusty roads and traffic noise, nestled in a private neighborhood adjacent to a beautiful nature preserve. We are a short walk to the picturesque beaches of Pelada, with a local and relaxed atmosphere, and Guiones where you will find a vibrant surfing beach. Available rental casitas include Casa Mango, and Casa Papaya. Both have fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms with hot showers, wifi, parking, towels, hammocks, AC and ceiling fans, with a private deck. Guests of the three casitas on the property share an ionized pool, propane bbq, and outdoor ranch/lounge areas. A choice of organic markets and oceanfront dining are short walks/drives away. World- class surfing, yoga, wellness treatments, fishing, wildlife, zip-lining, horseback riding and ATV tours are available in the beach communities surrounding Nosara. Welcome to our home in Playa Pelada, Nosara. We began to explore Costa Rica, beginning in 2008, the first trip spending the last two weeks in Nosara. Each year our trips would get more frequent and longer. In 2013 we purchased the property and built our casitas in 2018. We’ve lived full-time in Nosara since then with our little dog Bailey. We were joined by Lil’bit and Roscoe, two rescued cats who live outdoors on the property, in 2022. We are available to help with any details you may need to have a great experience visiting Nosara. We have travelled extensively around the country so we can also assist with information and/or arrangements for the next part of your journey, if needed. Casitas Escondidas is nestled in a residential neighborhood adjacent to a beautiful nature preserve. In addition to a short walk to the picturesque beaches of Pelada and Guiones, there are many trails that start right from the back of the property and walking distance to several restaurants. Shops and restaurants of Guiones are just a short drive away, North Guiones is also accessible by foot through the jungle trails.
