Gabby and Johanna specialize in permaculture, natural water systems, and sustainable land design. Outside of their work, they spend their time sailing, hiking, practicing ceramics, and foraging in nature. Their hosting style is warm, thoughtful, and rooted in a love for the land.
The house is located within a small, peaceful community made up of just five families. The area features a growing food forest, beautiful sunset views, open farmland, cows grazing nearby, and a few friendly dogs that wander through. Although the home itself is very private and quiet, guests are welcome to join guided tours of the surrounding community and our family land to learn more about our permaculture projects and local lifestyle. Just a short distance away is the town of Tilarán in Guanacaste, only a 5-minute drive or a pleasant 20-minute walk. In town, you'll find shops, restaurants, cafés, and all essential services, while still enjoying the tranquility and fresh mountain air of our rural setting.
