Within the compound is St. Paul’s Pillar, where according to legend, Saint Paul was flogged before the Roman governor Sergius Paulus was converted to Christianity. Enjoy the historical beauty of the area and walk in the mythical path of early Christians. Tombs of the Kings, the large necropolis lying about two kilometres north of Paphos Harbour. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the Archaeological Park and the medieval Castle. The underground tombs, many of which date back to the 4th century BC, are carved out of solid rock and are thought to have been the burial sites of Paphitic aristocrats and high officials up to the third century AD. It is located in 10 minutes by car from the apartment. You can also use the closest bus stop located 3 min walk. Visit the Archaeological Park of Pafos and experience the unique beauty of some of the most superbly preserved mosaics in the world dating from the 3rd and 5th century A.D. The Archaeological Park, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is near the Harbour only a 20-minute walk from the apartment.
