Welcome to the website of Chalet Galla, a newly renovated cottage on the outskirts of the Renaissance town of Horní Blatná in the Ore Mountains, which will enchant you with a unique view of Jelení hora. In Chalet Galla you will have a pleasant large garden with barbecue just for you. The cottage is suitable for 2-4 people. The accommodation includes a double bed, a single bed, a futon sofa bed with an extra mattress and possibly a sofa bed. For an additional 2 people for an additional fee, we offer the possibility of opening an extra basement apartment with a private bathroom. In total, the cottage is suitable for up to 6 people. Renting a cottage is an ideal choice, for example, for a couple or for a family with children 2+1 or 2+2. The cottage with a ground floor apartment is suitable for up to 6 people; at the same time, it is a great choice for 2 couples who prefer plenty of privacy. The apartment cannot be rented separately. A baby travel cot is available by arrangement (without baby bedding).
Chalet Galla is located in the picturesque area of the Ore Mountains, specifically in the village of Horní Blatná. This region is known for its rich history and beautiful nature. The Ore Mountains offer a large number of hiking trails, bike paths, cross-country ski trails and ski resorts. Horní Blatná is a small picturesque mountain town with a number of historical monuments and an ideal place for all those who are looking for peace, beauty and adventure in nature. Since 2019, Horní Blatná has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site within the Abertamy – Boží Dar – Horní Blatná mining landscape. In Horní Blatná you can visit the Church of St. Lawrence, the Museum of Horní Blatná, the natural monument Vlčí jámy and the lookout tower on Blatenský Hill, the Jindřišské Rocks, Vavřinec's bench and in winter the toboggan run from Blatenský Hill. In Horní Blatná you can visit several restaurants, such as Faustův Dvůr or the Koliba u medvěda restaurant, you can also use food delivery from the nearby Potůčky Stodola Grill-Pizza. There are several grocery stores in the village on the square, including a convenience store. We recommend visiting the Grocery store and the café at Mrs. Barbora. In the historic building of the town hall, the Information Centre is open to visitors.
