A STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE APARTMENT WITH TOP-OF-THE-LINE AMENITIES IN A HOME-LIKE ATMOSPHERE. Our attic flat is stretching across an entire floor of a nineteenth-century house and has four bedrooms and 2 wings. We live in one wing and offer in the sekond one 3 lockable guestrooms with one shared bathroom and toilet reserved for our guests. The spacious 50m2 living room, the kitchen and the private roof garden are shared for all of us, our guests and us. One of the main advantages of our apartment is that it offers both an elegant and pleasant setting, the possibility of exchanging with us - locals - or with other travelers, while at the same time having the space to respect your personnal privacy : if you want to stay alone during your entire stay and not come into contact with any of the occupants of the apartment, it's absolutely possible in this appartment in a completely natural way. The kitchen is well equipped. You'll find basic cooking supplies, but also milk, bread, butter, jam, coffee... to prepare your breakfast at the time you want. The fireplace is a pleasant place in winter - and the terrace with its garden, which offers a dream spot in other seasons.

We are Jacques-Eloi (alias Jakub) and Boris. Jacques-Eloi (alias Jakub) is French and has lived in Prague for over 20 years. He speaks good Czech (he is a translator) and knows Prague, its neighborhood, but also the rest of the country and Czech culture (he studied at the Czech National Film School and performed in dance shows). Boris is Slovak and speaks several languages fluently, including French. He studied medicine, but also attended the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and trained as a translator/interpreter. You will be with us as roommates / as guests / as home / as family: we can't choose. We'll be happy to share our experience of the Czech Republic with you, to give you advice, and you can count on our help if you need it. We want you to feel at home and have all the privacy you need.

ABOUT OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ZIZKOV - THE PRAGUE'S MONTMARTRE Žižkov, also known as Prague's Montmartre is a popular bohemian district favored by expats and artists. It has the highest concentration of bars and cafes in the Czech Republic. Situated on a hill, it's a leafy district with winding streets overlooking the Old Town. It's a district that offers many rustic and authentic restaurants that you won't find anywhere else but in the countryside. A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT EASY FOR EVERYDAY LIFE AND SHOPPING Downstairs in our building you'll find a grocery store open until midnight and another one open all night, just a 5 minute walk away. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays there's a very popular market on Jiří z Poděbrad square, a 10-minute walk away. Prague's largest beer garden is also a 10-minute walk away. Prague locals like to meet here with friends after work or for a picnic, as it's also a nice set to see the sunset over the Old Town. PRACTICAL FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTS Our location is particularly convenient for transportation: the main train station and the main bus station are both a 20-minute walk away. We're a 3-minute walk from a bus stop and a 6-minute walk from a tram stop.
