Der Strand ist 2km entfernt und mit dem Fahrrad in 7 Min. erreichbar. Direkt neben der "Möwe" gibt es ein Eiscafé, gegenüber ein Galerie Café, Souvenirladen, Friseur und Fahrradverleih. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, Bäcker und der Hafen mit Gaststätten und Fischbrötchen ist nur 200m entfernt. Die Insel Poel bietet einen erholsamen Urlaub in naturbelassener Landschaft mit langen feinsandigen Stränden. Es finden Konzerte, Feste, Kinoabende, Flohmärkte, Ausstellungen & Führungen am Strand statt.
