The 80 m² holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of our 1970s house, ideally situated along the scenic Brewery Trail. Just 1 km away, the famous Kathi Brewery awaits—a favorite gathering spot for hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists. For climbing enthusiasts, beginner-friendly climbing rocks are only 3 km from the apartment. The area is a haven for nature lovers, offering breathtaking hiking trails and outdoor adventures. A small village shop and the Rothenbach brewery and restaurant are just 400 m away. For relaxation, the renowned Obernsees thermal spa is only 15 km from the apartment. For those looking to explore further, the historic towns of Bayreuth, Bamberg, Forchheim, Pottenstein, and Kulmbach are all approximately 30 km away, making them excellent destinations for day trips. Winter in our region brings its own charm—it might surprise you with a fresh blanket of snow, creating a magical landscape. Please note, however, that snow or ice may make the entrance area slippery, so we recommend caution. If the weather interferes with your plans, you are welcome to cancel your booking at any time without worry. Whether you’re discovering the beauty of Franconian Switzerland, catching up with friends from afar, or on a business trip with colleagues, this apartment is the perfect home base for your stay.

We are retired and enjoy spending our time hiking, gardening, and especially cooking. Meeting people from all over the world and sharing stories and experiences with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds brings us great joy. We personally take care of the apartment’s cleaning to ensure it is always spotless and welcoming for your stay.
