Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Southern Harz and nestled in the historic town center of Ilfeld, we welcome you to our guesthouse. This charming half-timbered building from 1800, which once served as the first school of Ilfeld, now offers lovingly designed holiday apartments, whose names reflect the surrounding mountains and rock formations. In the "Mönch" holiday apartment, suitable for up to 3 people and accessible via 4 steps, you will find a cozy living atmosphere on approximately 40 m². The apartment has a bedroom with two single beds that can be combined to form a double bed, and a suite of upholstered furniture in the living room that serves as sleeping accommodation for the third person. A flat-screen TV, Internet access via hot spot, and a kitchen equipped with a coffee maker and kettle complete the offering. Outside in the shared garden, guests can relax, barbecue, and enjoy the landscape. The location of the guesthouse invites exploration: right outside the door, some of the Harz's most beautiful hiking trails begin. In the immediate vicinity, there are shopping facilities for daily needs, a butcher shop offering Thuringian specialties, a bakery, and a snack bar just 2 minutes away on foot. Attractions such as the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways, which travel daily through the picturesque landscape to the Brocken, are also within reach.
