Our rustic, cosy and lovingly furnished holiday home is situated in an idyllic, almost secluded location directly on the stream (swimming possibility) surrounded by meadows and forests, close to Lake Waginger See. The cottage is in a wonderfully quiet (low traffic) and yet central location, it has a sunny terrace with a seating area for 7 people, sun loungers and a lounge for 4 people. A south-facing balcony with seating for reading, relaxing, leaving the stress of everyday life behind and unwinding. There are 3 double rooms, 1 single room, 1 living room, 1 bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer. (Shower towels and hand towels are included). A fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, 1 additional fridge for drinks with ice compartment, electric hob with oven, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, soda stream. 1 living room with dining area and wing chair. The house is heated by a wood-burning stove in the living room and by electric underfloor heating in the bathroom. Our cottage is in a wonderfully quiet location nestled between a forest and a stream, with very little traffic. The award-winning gold village of Kirchanschöring can be reached by car in 5 minutes, where there are very good shopping facilities. A supermarket, a butcher's shop, a bakery, an organic food shop, a post office, a pharmacy and the traditional Meindl clothing store. Swimming, water sports or fishing at Waginger See. Farmers' market every Saturday in Waging. Guided llama hikes on Lake Waging. The nearby mountains (Chiemgau Alps), the world-famous city of Salzburg (birthplace of Mozart) is in the immediate vicinity (approx. 30 min. drive). Minigolf courses, adventure playground, soccer field, wellness garden are available directly in Waging am See. Very well-developed cycling and hiking trails around the Waginger See. The Bavarian Sea, the Chiemsee with a boat trip to the Herreninsel (castle of King Ludwig II of Bavaria) or the Fraueninsel are also only about 30 minutes away, as are the salt mines in Bad Reichenhall or Berchtesgaden.
