The attractiveness of Wald-Michelbach is based both on its breathtaking location in the natural surroundings of Odenwald-Überwald – with two-thirds of forest area and minimal through traffic – and on its excellent connection to the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, with cities like Weinheim, Mannheim, or Heidelberg easily reachable in a short time. The leisure infrastructure offers museums, a cinema, a summer toboggan run, a climbing forest, and a forest swimming pool. The municipality benefits from an exceptional climate, with lower extreme temperatures in summer.
