The popular wuppertaler cityhall, location of over 500 buisness- and cultural events per year, is on your way to the mainstation and it takes you just about ten minutes to get there. From here you can easily see the famous suspension railway, which Wuppertal is known for. Wuppertal is very mountainous and to be perfectly precisely, it is build between two hills, the north- and the southheight, which are disconnected by the wupper (Wuppertals river). After a 15 minute walk you can reach the nearest suspension railwaystation, which can take you to the other districts Barmen, Vohwinkel and Elberfeld. If you like to go swimming you have the facility, to use the Schwimmoper, which is also in walking distance.
