Hi, we're Selma and Olli, the owners of MY STAY, and we come from beautiful Upper Bavaria. Together with our Italian truffle dog and speedster, "Archie," we try to enjoy life's little joys and moments as often and as best we can. We've been fortunate enough to travel to almost every continent in the world and discover over 30 countries. On these trips, we've met the most wonderful people and had new experiences that have enriched our lives forever. It's precisely these often unexpected experiences that drive us to provide our guests with an unforgettable stay in our accommodations. We know only too well how difficult it is to enjoy the moment, the here and now, in today's stress of everyday life. One to-do often follows the next. We want to remind our guests of the importance of living in the moment. Far too rarely do we go through our days mindfully, forgetting how important it is to enjoy the here and now! Shared conversations, experiences or small moments of silence and serenity - this is exactly what we want to experience on holiday and what we want to give to our guests. MY STAY celebrates moments! It's often the little things and things that give our lives true meaning and purpose, but whose significance we often only realize in retrospect. Our motto: Live in the moment! At MY STAY, we want to give our guests the opportunity to consciously experience the moment again. This starts in the morning with the preparation of your hand-filtered pour-over coffee with a view of the Breitenstein and Wendelstein mountains, is reflected in the wonderful leisure and sports opportunities in the area, such as cycling, hiking, relaxing at Schliersee, or cross-country skiing and skiing in winter, is accompanied by games and books on mindfulness and communication in our accommodations, and culminates in the evening on our feather-soft organic textile mattresses, which allow you to reflect on the day and ensure a wonderfully restful night. Children will also enjoy books, games, and drawing, allowing adults moments of serenity. To ensure that our environment also enjoys us and our guests, we pay as much attention as possible to sustainability in our furnishings, materials, and equipment. In our two holiday apartments, "Glücksmomente" and "Lebenslust," you'll find everything you need for a carefree and relaxing stay. With over 60 square meters of space, the fully equipped apartments offer enough space for up to four people and are individually and high-quality furnished in a modern country house style. Our organic teas, for example, come from the "Herbaria" tea factory just a few kilometers away. Heating is provided by a wood pellet boiler. The windows were handcrafted and are made of natural spruce, and you'll walk on real wooden floors. The accommodation and property were lovingly completed in 2023 and are located in a new building with its own garden area on the ground floor and a balcony on the upper floor.

A large playground is also just a few minutes' walk away. The "Hammer" train station, with train connections to Munich or Bayrischzell, and a large Edeka supermarket are only about 2.5 km away. The famous Cafe Winklstüberl, as well as many other restaurants, attractions, and the town center of Fischbachau, are a half-hour walk away. A refreshing swim in the shimmering Schliersee lake, with its great lido, free sunbathing areas, and water sports facilities, is just a 10-minute drive away. Beautiful Tegernsee lake is just 25 minutes away from our accommodation. Fancy a trip to the mountains? Just a few minutes away are dozens of access points to the mountains, offering walking and hiking trails for beginners and advanced skiers alike. For skiing in the winter or relaxing in the summer, Lake Spitzingsee is just a 10-minute drive away. Several cross-country ski trails await sports enthusiasts in Fischbachau or in Bayrischzell, also just 10 minutes away (with another ski area at Sudelfeld).
