Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are each only 5 km away and local bus operators offer tours. Füssen’s picturesque Old Town is worth exploring and the Austrian border is just 3 km away.
The A7 motorway is only 3 km from Füssen and connects to Munich. The popular Romantic Road ends here.
