You can go riding 5 minutes away. Plenty of Baltic Sea beaches, such as the 10-kilometre-long Schaabe beach, are easy to get to by car. You can go on hiking and cycling tours, as well as day trips to Hiddensee. You can go fishing in the marshes nearby, or by rowing boat, for eel, pike, carp etc.

The estate is a historical manor house that was renovated elaborately in 2005, in accordance with its history. It is in the west of the island of Rügen right by the water.
