At the foot of Johannisberg Castle lies our family-friendly holiday flat with a large family bed and second bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine and a dishwasher. The daylight bathroom has a washing machine and bathtub. In the courtyard there is a comfortable seating area and a gas barbecue. There is also a parking space for a car, motorbikes or bicycles. Bakery and supermarket are only a few minutes walk away.
Culinary highlights Many of the 70 wineries in Oestrich-Winkel invite you to taste their wines. In the numerous restaurants there is something for every taste, from fillet of beef and typical Rheingau Spundekäs to spaghetti for the little ones. And if you prefer fish & chips, a visit to "Allendorf am Rhein" is worthwhile. Places of interest Whether Johannisberg Castle or Vollrads Castle, Brentano House or the Grey House (Germany's oldest stone house) - there is a lot to discover in Winkel and the immediate vicinity! You can find more information about Oestrich-Winkel or the Rheingau on the linked pages. Activities The Rheinsteig and the banks of the Rhine invite you to go hiking and cycling at any time of year. A special experience for children and adults alike is the climbing park Hallgarter Zange and on hot days you can cool off wonderfully in the Hallgarten outdoor pool. Bus stop a few metres from the house, parking space for cars, bicycles and motorbikes available.
