We (Eelco and Mieke and our daughter Rosa) have been coming regularly and with great pleasure to the Eifel since 2011 to enjoy the peace, the space and the beautiful nature. From 2020 we offer Villa Holgenbach for rent and we wish everyone a wonderful stay in our beautiful house! Villa Holgenbach is a wonderful accommodation and consists of two apartments (Penthouse Holgenbach and Apartment Holgenbach) that can be rented separately or jointly. This makes the villa particularly suitable for a large family, a holiday with 3 generations, 2 families etc. The 2 separate apartments allow you to get away together, but there is also the possibility of privacy. The layout of the villa fits in perfectly with this. Because Penthouse Holgenbach is a lot more spacious, you can eat and relax together with the whole family or both families. There is room for everyone, plenty of crockery, an extra large fridge and if you all want to eat outside, put the 2 picnic tables next to each other and enjoy the beautiful view together! The villa is located in Schleiden within walking distance of the center in a quiet street.

The villa has great views and perfect sun-lit location. There is free WiFi, Internet, Smart TV (incl. Chromecast so enjoy streaming from your phone/tablet or log in to the Apps from Netflix etc.) and cable TV channels available. There is free parking (including a garage). Schleiden is located in the beautiful Eifel National Park. You can cycle and hike from the Villa. Many other activities in the immediate vicinity. Penthouse Holgenbach (upstairs) has 2 bedrooms, a large living room (with extra sofa bed) with large cosy wood-burning stove and dining area, separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with bath and shower and separate guest toilet. It is a wonderfully spacious flat. There is a large terrace of 75-100 m2 with fantastic views, several sitting, dining and relaxing furniture, trampoline, BBQ and garage. Flat Holgenbach (ground floor) has 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower and toilet, a living room and a fully equipped dining kitchen. From the dining kitchen there is access to the spacious balcony/terrace with dining table, lounge chairs and BBQ. An 11KW charging station for electric cars is located outside the garage. Guests can use it for a fee. Please inquire about charging options. If Villa Holgenbach is rented as a whole, the maximum is set at 8 adults per stay.

Villa Holgenbach is located in Schleiden, 500 meters from the center. There are various restaurants and shops. The bus stop is 500 meters away. The hiking trails start directly at the house. The street ends in nature after approximately 300 meters. The Eifelsteig, Wildernistrail and Rur-Olef routes run through the municipality of Schleiden. In Gemünd you will find the Tor National Park Eifel. On the website of the municipality you can download various walking routes with distances from 1.3 km to 23.1 km and cycling routes. Schleiden has an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing lawn (within walking distance). There is a hospital, a number of general practitioners and dentists. There is much to discover and do in the area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier and Maastricht are recommended. All cities can be reached by car within an hour to just over an hour. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim and Bad Münstereifel, Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Rursee, Kronenburger See, Kyllradweg, Vennbahn, winter sports area Weisse Stein in Udenbreth and the Wildfreigehege in Hellenthal.
