We are a family with three children and live in the same house as the City Apartment Ochtrup. It is important to us that our guests feel welcome and well looked after during their stay. During the season from May to September, it opens early in the morning (sometimes from 6:30 a.m.), making it ideal for an active start to the day. Alternatively, the nearby SportWerk Ochtrup offers a fitness studio and indoor football facilities, providing sporting activities all year round. Several bakeries are located close by and can be reached within a few minutes by bicycle, offering fresh bread rolls and regional baked goods every day. Ochtrup itself offers a good variety of dining options. Around the modern McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ochtrup, you will find numerous restaurants and cafés serving a wide range of cuisines. The region is particularly well suited for cycling and walking. Well-developed cycle paths lead through the typical Münsterland park landscape, passing fields, forests and historic farmhouses. A special highlight: the Netherlands are only a few kilometres away. Cross-border cycling tours are highly recommended, for example towards Enschede, which is ideal for a relaxed day trip by bike.
