In fact, the Wadden Sea is just outside the door - it is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and one of the most important nature reserves in Denmark. It is a landscape of wetlands, beach, pastures, dunes and an incredibly diverse bird population. You can see the island of Sylt in the distance. A few hundred meters away from the house on one side is the idyllic harbor of Havneby, its small fish stores and the regular ferry service to Sild, on the other side you will find golf courses, tennis courts and restaurants. In addition, in the extension of the promenade in front of the house are nature trails that lead through the marsh and dike landscape. The beautiful Sønderstrand, one of the widest in Europe, is only 2 km away, here you will find a wide range of leisure activities. The house was built in 2009 and is part of the award-winning, modern, environmentally conscious architectural project 'Sorte Sol' (Black Sun). Just living in such an interesting building is an experience in itself. First-class materials have been used in the construction and furnishing, the interior harmonizes with the architecture, it is bright and of an informal, Scandinavian design.
