We are a family-owned company that has been operating a glamping business since 2020. All the carriages have been purchased and constructed from scratch by ourselves. Before we acquire the carriages, they have already led a full life. The carriages range in age from 15 to 60 years, during which they have served various purposes. Some of them have functioned as circus wagons, housing acrobats and circus princesses. Others have been used as personnel carriages for lumberjacks in the Nordic forests, providing shelter and sustenance for the sturdy men. There are also carriages that once belonged to a carnival, housing the circus director with a cigar in hand, while tallying the cash received from visiting guests. Despite the seemingly fanciful nature, everything is entirely true. We acquire these carriages and renovate them in a style that promotes recycling, while simultaneously preserving their history. Everything within the carriages, however, is new and constructed from the ground up, with only the framework being retained, polished, cleaned, and painted. We have a total of 10 carriages, all of which we have built and own. They vary in price, size, functionality, and location, and no two carriages are identical. This ensures that you will be able to experience a wide range of impressions and experiences at Krusmølle Glamping. Nestled within 55 hectares of private natural surroundings, Krusmølle Glamping is a haven free from disturbance and passing strangers, right beside your reserved carriage. Additionally, our family also operates an affiliated restaurant, café, and store, setting us apart from other establishments. With a business history spanning the last 40 years in these industries, both breakfast and dinner are prepared in a professional kitchen. If you have mobility challenges, we advise against staying with us, as the paths and roads in the area consist solely of gravel and grass. We are eagerly looking forward to your visit :)
