Each suite offers spectacular ocean views, with gracious, well appointed indoor and outdoor living space. We are located centrally to the village of Calibishie and are approximately 20 minutes from Charles Douglas Airport. Guests enjoy the convenience of our location and our secure vacation rental neighborhood. We are also one of the few properties with both an outdoor, and indoor pool. The Crow's Nest suite has both ocean and mountain views. Its our most private suite as it sits at the top of the house. The apartment is air conditioned with large ceiling fans in both bedrooms. The Big Bamboo is our largest suite, complete with its own, private indoor pool. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have fans. There are two full bathrooms in the Big Bamboo. You will enjoy ocean and infinity pool views on your extra large balcony. We offer car and driver packages for smaller groups, up to 4 people, as well as truck and driver packages for larger groups, up to 12 people. Scenic tours and exciting excursions! River Tubing, Water Fall Tours, Beach Bar Hopping, Hot Springs, Snorkeling, Beach Tours and self guided tours...let us know your preference. We are both experienced travelers and have been visiting Dominica for 14 years. In June of 2023, we decided to make Dominica our permanent residence. We have completely renovated Hodges Bay House and look forward to welcoming guests. It is such a pleasure meeting and hosting guests from all over the world. We are very proud of our well received reviews, and continually strive to make adjustments to push our standards even higher. Currently, we live onsite in the studio suite called the Rum Runner, just off the garden. We do have a dog, Opee. She does not have the run of the property. Opee is very family friendly dog and is quiet. You may see us taking her on leashed walks. In the winter of 2025, it is our goal to open the Rum Runner suite for guests, as we will be moving onto our new home, which is currently in the works locally.

Hodges Bay House is located in a popular, and secure vacation rental neighborhood. Beach access is a 20 minute walk from the house. The closest convienence store is a short 3 minute walk. We are close to restaurants, groceries, gas, bus routes, guides and tour starting points.
