My plan is to spend the winters in the DR, but right now work keeps me here in Pennsylvania. When I do get to spend time at the Cove, I love to show them around the peninsula. Whether visiting remote beaches, hiking, or riding 4 wheelers, we always have a great time.

The Cove is close to the road. This is very important because many other rentals are far off in the mountain, and you have to travel on poor roads in the dark. These dirt roads wash out often due the rains, so it takes a long time and is hard on the car. We do not have that problem at the Cove. Near us is the very small town of El Frances. Due to the very small population, we don't have a lot of locals bothering us to buy trinkets, etc.
