The accommodation "Playa Tortuga" is located directly on the "Rio Napo" river. We have a beach in front of the house that invites you to take a little dip in the river. "Playa Tortuga" is not only an accommodation offering rooms for two or three persons with private bathrooms, but also a restaurant bar. Tamara is the chef and knows how to cook typical dishes like the super delicious “Maito de tilapia” (grilled fish). We also offer recommendations on the area and can organize tours with a guide. If you come by bus, we will be happy to pick you up at the park in Misahuallí. If you arrive by car, you can park right here.

We are a local family. The driving force behind it all is mama Yolanda, and without daughter Tamara we wouldn't have clean rooms or food 😉. Her husband Félix is the family's taxi driver, and the girls Nahomi, Valeria and Maya are happy to help out after class and homework if needed. With open arms we await you here to offer you a relaxed and natural place for your vacation. Fortunately, we have great support from the family's son and his wife from Germany, so we can also answer you in German and English and bring you closer to the beauties of the area.

The lively town of Misahuallí, where there are many shops and, as a special attraction, a large number of monkeys who love to play, is only a stone's throw away from us. Misahuallí is also the starting point for many jungle tours.
