Oiu Harbour Situated in the heart of nature on the beautiful Lake Võrtsjärv, Oiu Harbour offers accommodation and event spaces for conferences and seminars. It also has sauna facilities, making it a desirable venue for Christmas parties, training courses and private parties. The log house's main event space is on the ground floor, with a fireplace and boardroom-style long table that seats up to 24. There is also a fully-equipped kitchenette. The bedrooms on the second floor can accommodate up to 10 people, and a sun-facing terrace to enjoy a morning coffee. Oiu harbour hiking trail boasts remarkable views, snippets of history and fresh air. The half-kilometre-long (a third of a mile) trail begins at the pier and curves up the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv. The hiking trail runs over a bog, and at its highest point, there are four metres (15 feet) of space underneath. Information boards along the path tell gripping stories about the life and history of the local area, animals, and flora. The trail is open all year round, be it Lake Võrtsjärv in the summer in its full glory or the frosted-over winter wonderland. In addition to accommodation services, the main harbour of Lake Võrtsjärv is the heart of Oiu. Take the waterway from Oiu, have an evening of sauna and spend an evening there?
