Swimming Pool Dress Code:

1. Approved Materials for Swimwear

Non-Absorbent Fabrics: Swimwear must be made from materials such as Lycra or Nylon, which are specifically designed for swimming. These materials help prevent the transport of contaminants into the pool water.

Prohibited Fabrics: Clothing made from cotton, denim, or other absorbent materials is not permitted, as these can retain water and harbor bacteria.

2. Swimwear Design

Fit and Coverage: Swimwear should be appropriately fitted to avoid any loose fabric that could become heavy when wet. This ensures safety and comfort while swimming.

Specific Restrictions:

No cutoff jeans or t-shirts are allowed.

Women's swimwear must be either one-piece or two-piece; while dresses are not permitted.

3. Head Coverings

Swim Caps: Swimmers are encouraged to wear swim caps made from silicone or latex to keep hair contained and reduce contamination in the pool. This is particularly important for maintaining water clarity and hygiene.

Prohibited Headgear: Non-swimming headgear, such as hats or scarves made from absorbent materials, is not allowed in the pool area.

4. General Guidelines

Swimwear Changes: Swimmers should change into appropriate swimwear before entering the pool area to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Enforcement: Pool staff will monitor compliance with these regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all patrons.

By adhering to these dress code regulations, we can promote a healthier swimming environment and enhance the overall experience for all users of the facility.

Important Safety Reminder:

Access to the sea from the jetties in Soma Bay is only suitable for experienced swimmers.

Non-swimmers must not enter or jump from the jetties.

If you are unsure of your swimming ability, a life jacket is mandatory at all times.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property can only accept bookings from essential workers/permitted travellers, during dates where such guidelines exist. Reasonable evidence must be provided on arrival. If it isn't provided, your booking will be cancelled on arrival.
