The Hideaway is a modern 2 bedroom, groundfloor apartment on the Albatros residence, Los Alcázares set in one of the best positions with direct access overlooking the 2 pools and landscape gardens. The Hideaway is bright, clean and spacious with modern furniture to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All bed linen and bath and beech towels, hairdryer, iron and board are all provided free of charge. Each bedroom also has built in wardrobes with plenty of hangers and a chest of drawers and bedside drawers to store your clothes in. There is Air Conditioning throughout in the front room and both bedrooms. It is on a metre which you will get a 10 euro card for free if your stay is a week or longer, then after that you can purchase them for either 10 or 20 euro from our house manager. We also have ceiling fans throughout 2x in the front room and 1 in each bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen so you can cook your own meals and wash your clothes If you need. Out of the residence is just a 5min flat stroll to the 525 plaza where you will find an array of restaurants and bars a further few mins to the 6km of beutifiul blue flag las palmeras beech with plenty of frontline beech restaurants and bars to choose from. There is 4 well known supermarkets within 0.6 km Lidl, Consum, Mercadona and Aldi, which we have provided a shopping trolley to make the trips to the shops alot easier if you do not have a car.

The Mar Menor (little sea) belongs to three other municipalities: San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena and is Europe's largest saltwater lagoon. Connected to the adjacent Mediterranean sea by several channels, the Mar Menor has a surface area of almost 20 km² and the fact that it is typically 2-4 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, makes it a very popular destination for sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and other water sports enthusiasts. Los Alcazares has a resident population (2018) of 15,674 which rises to over 100,000 during the peak tourist summer holiday season. On 13 October 1983, the town was granted municipal autonomy, in respect of which it holds an annual week-long celebration featuring live music, shows, windsurfing competitions and firework displays. Besides the annual celebration of municipal autonomy, like many Spanish towns and cities, Los Alcazares also plays host to numerous fiestas and festivals throughout the year, including a large medieval market at the end of every March, and during the last two weeks in August, ‘La Huerta’ an international folklore festival and feast in celebration of the region’s status as the market garden of Spain.
