A notable entrance hall with high ceiling branches out to the various rooms distributed across the ground floor. A nicely furnished lounge and dining room overlooks an extensive lawn that sweeps down to a good-sized pool with slopping access adding yet more fun for little ones and handy for those with difficulties entering a pool via steps. In the separate, farmhouse kitchen a long breakfast table ensures there’s more than enough room for everyone to sit together and relish that first cup of morning coffee, with direct access out to the covered terrace early birds are rewarded with a glimpse of sunrise. An adjacent utility area provides washing facilities, a washing machine, (curiously an indoor barbecue) and shower room. On the other side of the hall are three comfortable bedrooms - a double bedroom with en suite walk-in shower and two twin bedrooms located either side of a full bathroom all fitted with air-conditioning for sleeping with ease at night. Terracotta steps lead up to the fourth bedroom, which is an ample, lofty area with en suite bathroom incorporating both a bathtub and separate shower. Here patio doors provide direct access to a rooftop terrace with far reaching views over the surrounding geography and mountain range. The garden can certainly be described as child friendly, totally enclosed with plenty of grass areas for a light-hearted game of football or Tag and a pool designed to gently slope down into the water to encourage non-swimmers. No garden is complete without a barbecue and this one is no exception - savouring sizzling burgers and sausages around the pool will undoubtedly form part of the cache of holiday memories conjured up by this delightful villa.

A grass track winds its way past a series of ancient gnarled olive trees up to the impressive, arched wooden door of Can Pallicer, as it stands majestically within spacious grounds dotted with lush Mediterranean shrubs, colourful indigenous plants, flourishing palms, clusters of gently swaying grasses and fringed by verdant hedging and olive trees. Sitting mid-point between the colourful charm of old town Pollenca and the sandy shores of the Port, both with a substantial choice of places to wine, dine or just relax, ten minutes in the car will open a Pandoras Box of: Alcudia’s waterpark, a game of golf, retail therapy in local boutiques and craft stores, maybe a fun morning in a bustling market and of course the sandy coastline of the north never disappoints. A perfect base for making the most of quality time with the family.
