Cervantes Loft is a beautiful, airy loft space in the heart of the old town. It is decorated in a modern Moorish style which pays homage to Alhama's long history. When guests enter the apartment, they are always wowed by the view across the Andalucian countryside. The view seems to change constantly as the light changes throughout the day. Inside you will find home all your home comforts. Cervantes 2 is a colourful and cute apartment for two with a large terrace with views of the sunrise and countryside. There is a pellet burner for winter.
Our house is located in the oldest part of Alhama, with narrow cobbled streets and a real sense of history. The local walking tours stop outside our place and talk about the Queen’s hospital and the ancient Granada gate from when Alhama was a walled fortress town. It's a lovely 7-10 minute stroll to the tourist office and the nearest bars and restaurants. From our house you can be down in the famous gorge or 'tajos' in less than 10 minutes (a little longer on the way back up!). If you turn left, this takes you to the hot springs and Balneario; and if you turn right, you can enjoy a river walk to the restaurants Pato Loco and Ventorro. A little further afield you can head to Lake Bermejales for watersports and swimming or to La Resineria or the Nature Park of Sierra de Tejada, Almijara y Alhama for walking or take on the challenge of La Moroma. Really, we have the best of all worlds here!
