Casa Demetria La Palma is located in a rural area 1 km from the village center of Puntagorda in the middle of an avocado orchard. Casa Demetria is an old farmhouse (pajero) that was last inhabited in the early eighties by its namesake Demetria. Nothing is really known about the age of the building, but it is said to be between 150 and 200 years old. The renovation took two years. Now it is a comfortable home that is fully equipped. It has a bedroom, a living room with kitchen and a bathroom. In front of Casa Demetria is a beautiful cactus garden with a sun terrace and a barbecue and dining table. Parking is possible on site next to the entrance door to the location. Furthermore, you compensate for the CO2 emissions of your flight because both the electricity and the hot water are generated by solar energy. For the cooler days in the winter there is a wood stove or if you prefer a gas stove. The view over the Atlantic Ocean is fantastic and the knowledge that Florida is on the other side is very special.

It is a walking island par excellence. There is an extensive network of hiking trails for both beginners and experts. Still, if you want to sunbathe, you can also go here, in Tazacorte, Peurto Naos and in the capital are busy large volcanic black beaches. But there are also small bays where there is simply nothing but a small black beach and the sea. In the evening you can enjoy one of the many restaurants on the island.
