This is a cute, strange but wonderful townhouse with a very low ceiling on the ground floor and the doorway. You must be able to go up and down steps and hills to get to the house as it is in the top part of town so the house is maybe not for tall people or people with reduced mobility. The house has a lot of character and has an old but also partially renovated feel. It has a well equipped kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, Brita water filtering jug and an electric oven. There are three outside areas in the property, a couple of them have tables and chairs. It's quite ‘wonky’ in some areas and you really have to take care as you walk around and with the steps going up and down to the terrace etc. At the top of the house you have a terrace with fabulous views where you can even see africa on a clear day, a coal barbecue, a table and chairs, an outside shower that can be used to cool off and a couple of sunbeds that can be used to sit on too. Beside the terrace there is a small bedroom with a window, a single bed and air conditioning.

My name is Andrew, I have been living in this beautiful town of Mijas for about twenty years. I like this part of the world because the weather is great and you can meet different people from around the world. I have taught art for fourteen years and now I am moving into new things. I do different art works, some translating, hospitality, construction and take care of the wonderful place where I live. I am quite a relaxed person I have chickens at home and I enjoy sports like surfing.

The townhouse is in the top part of the beautiful town of Mijas pueblo. The house is a protected house because its in the traditional old town. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close and around the town. The post office and the local market are on the same street as this house but just steps and a hill, down. There are mountain walks very close to the house, at about a seven minute walk away, just make sure you stay hydrated. If you go straight down from the house for about 8 minutes you will get to La Bóveda which is my favourite place for breakfast and close to the bullring there are gardens and panoramic views where you can relax and enjoy. The beaches are at about a 17 minute drive away or a 15 minute walk and a twenty minute bus ride to the nearby coastal town called Fuengirola. There is an outside shower on the terrace where you can also refresh yourself. There is a supermarket at about 5 minute walk away from the house and different supermarkets around although if you are doing a big shop and you are in Fuengirola I like going to Mercadona supermarket. There are also other beautiful towns and cities around to visit around Mijas or not too far away like Marbella, Malaga, Ronda or, a bit further; beautiful Atlantic beach towns like Tarifa in Cadiz. I like to do a riverwalk in Benahavis in summer.
