We are a family run business which has been growing rapidly since Summer 2007. The company is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle´s desire to offer stylish & eco-friendly holiday accommodation, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the island, which they love and where they brought up their family. These days the business is run by Joshua, their eldest son. From organising car hire, arranging days out, providing child and nursery equipment to recommending restaurants and beaches, the team at Lanzarote Retreats have over 20 years of experience of living, working, entertaining children and enjoying Lanzarote. Located in the charming village of Tao, a central location on the island of Lanzarote, this beautifully restored finca offers the perfect retreat for families and groups. With five spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across three levels, the property comfortably accommodates up to 10 adults plus 2 infant. The finca is within walking distance of the local Sociedad, the Spanish equivalent of a social club which is a local hub for dining and socialising and just a short drive from the stunning coastlines of Famara and La Santa. Finca Botanica Tao features five bedrooms, including four with king-size beds and one with twin beds. The master bedroom is on the upper level and includes a walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower and breathtaking views of Famara. Three of the bedrooms share a well-appointed shower room, while the fifth bedroom, converted from the finca’s original bodega, has access to its own dedicated shower room, offering unique charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern conveniences, including an electric oven, gas hob, and Nespresso coffee maker. The main living area provides an 86″ TV with Netflix, as well as a vintage record player with an amplifier for music enthusiasts. For those who need to stay connected, the finca offers Starlink Wi-Fi, providing fast and reliable internet access. While the villa does not have built-in air conditioning or central heating, fans and electric heaters are available on request to ensure your comfort year-round. Outside, the finca boasts a private 10m x 5m pool (unheated) accessed via steps with decking , perfect for enjoying the Canarian all year round climate.There is also an inviting hot tub under a pergola for ultimate relaxation. Beach towels are provided, along with thoughtful extras like hairdryers, a cot, and a highchair for infants to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
