The property is managed by a canarian family that has owned the estate for over 200 years. The mother of the family is a famous Canarian artist who decorated each of the 9 houses. The eldest son is an Executive chefworks in its own business in the restaurant of modern Canarian cuisine Valle de Mogan, which is located on the territory of the "Casa La Maquina" architectural complex.

Property information

Spend your holiday in the beautiful canarian building in the heart of Gran Canaria! Casa La Maquina, first of all, is a unique historical object, which is more than 200 years old. Built in accordance with the canons of typical Canarian architecture, this big house was the first outstanding building in the village of Mogan. The renting house is very lovely one in the complex of 9 houses. It consists a bedroom and a bathroom. Filled with light from within, it gives a feeling of peace and tranquility to the soul. The bedroom room has a 2-century-old ceiling made of Canary Island pine and walls made of natural stone. The house has a cozy patio enfront of the bedroom where you can have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. In addition, opposite the main entrance there is a large main patio where you can relax in the shade, for example, reading a book. The house has the bathroom inside equipped with a sink, toilet, shower, hairdryer and a set of towels, including for sunbathing on the hammocks in the Cactus Garden. The house has a capsule coffee machine and an initial welcome set for making drinks.

This small house is a part of the historical "Casa la Maquina". A five-minute walk from you will find a small but cozy village where the most notable monument is the 19th-century church of San Antonio de Padua, which combines traditional and neoclassical forms with a carved wooden coffered ceiling. Surrounding the temple are various buildings with a traditional Canarian aesthetic. In 10 min by car you could enjoy the amazing beach PLAYA de MOGAN. This beautiful place is also called the little Canarian Venice. Beautiful romantic streets among white two-story houses, entwined with colorful bugambilia will not leave anyone indifferent. We recommend walking along the promenade and, of course, lying on a small, but such a cozy beach. In the territory of the house you can visit the famous VALLE DE MOGAN restaurant. Housed in an impeccably restored historic building, Valle de Mogan restaurant exudes old-world charm and sophistication. The restaurant’s romantic ambiance and great views to the valley makes it an ideal spot for celebrating anniversaries or special milestones. The menu boasts a fusion of contemporary Canarian cuisine, expertly prepared by skilled Executive chef Chema Marrero.
