We are a dynamic Belgian couple that has been dreaming for a while to take life in another direction. Finally we could start our new adventure, our dream. Our dream to give you, our guests, the very best. An outstanding service in a unique setting and let you enjoy this gem together with us.

Property information

Welcome at La Sorpresa, our classy stay in beautiful Andalusia. Our B&B is easy to reach and is located less than an hour drive from the airport of Málaga. Furthermore, the location is perfect for those who love culture, domestic nature, adventure and/or the beaches of Costa del Sol. In our village you will find about ten tapas bars and a local restaurant. Our cortijo has a spacious garden with a marvellous view. Enjoy a relaxing day at the pool or cool down after a day full of activities. We clean every room/bathroom daily and you will have bathrobes at your disposal. Wi-Fi is available in the entire B&B. The property is completely enclosed and has enough secured parking spaces.

Neighbourhood information

The possibilities and variety seem – and are – endless throughout the entire year: discovering authentic villages and historic cities, hiking, have drinks on terraces, mountain climbing, parapente, mountain biking, chill by the pool, catch fresh air at the beach, golfing, horseback riding, quad biking, shopping, surfing, sailing, culinary enjoyment, canoeing… and yes, even skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Historic cities such as Ronda, Cordoba and Granada are accessible from La Sorpresa at less than a 2-hour drive. If you’re looking for something closer to home and you like authentic cities and/or relaxation, you can go to Antequera in less than half an hour and in less than an hour you’re in Málaga or Mijas. If you love nature you can visit the Caminito Del Rey, the Ardales lake, natural park ‘El Torcal’ or wolf park ‘Lobo Park’. And all of this at less than a half hour drive. Enjoy the coastline at less than an hour away. If you’re visiting during the wintertime and you want to combine culture with an active holiday, that is possible. A two hour drives takes you to Sierra Nevada where you can enjoy the more than 100km of ski slopes in the Sierra Nevada.
