I always say to our guests that this holiday home isn't just a "place to base" while being on holiday. It should actually add to your holiday experience. Our guests are able to enjoy outdoor dining while watching the sunset over the beach, swim in the pool while almost hearing the noise of the waves and enjoying all the modern day facilities such as WiFi and smart TV. Both bedrooms have wonderful views overlooking the beach and gardens, what a way to wake! The beds should be very comfortable as we update our mattresses frequently and provide appropriate bedding and quilts depending on the season. The lounge and kitchen are open plan, so even while preparing a meal, the cook isn't left out when it comes to the 'holiday feel'. I can confidently say that this holiday home will not disappoint.... I do have a very good team around me so you can certainly let me know if there is anything that needs improvement!

Torino and I own this holiday home and we love it! Torino is from Fuerteventura. He is one of the original families from Corralejo. He is actually a fisherman but turned his hand from catching it to cooking it. He built a beach shack on Cotillo beach and cooked Paellas and fresh fish for over 20 years and was the 'Torino' in Bar Torino. It was during this time we fell in love with El Cotillo and saw the Marfolin apartments being built. We couldn't believe how close to the beach they were and decided to buy one for our retirement. Twenty years on, our retirement has turned out quite differently to how we imagined as nowadays we spend many months in the UK with our daughters and a wonderful little grandson (Victorino ll ) As I mentioned, we have a local team around us and on hand to help so please feel free to use the contact numbers provided should you need to. El Cotillo is known for its laid-back vibe, stunning natural beauty and the most breathtaking beaches and lagoons. Although very popular with tourists, it still feels like a real Canarian village with fishing boats in the harbour and locals out for evening strolls. It is also the best place to come and sit to enjoy beautiful sunsets. One of the best places to sit for a sunset is Piedra Playa high on the cliffs. On occasions, on a clear evening, you can see the Island of Gran Canaria. It'll will be 'Ia Isleta' in Las Palmas. The Lagoons of La Concha beach are shallow turquoise waters and white sands. They are wonderful for swimming, paddle boarding and snorkelling. There are several surf schools in town for those guests who would enjoy the surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing. Cotillo is a good place for these water sports thanks to the Atlantic swells and steady winds. If a more relaxing approach is preferred, there are some really quirky arts and crafts shops that make for a lovely stroll. Why not stop for some homemade ice cream or a little cocktail. Cotillo is full of trendy bistros, cozy tapas bars as well as the best fresh fish and seafood restaurants. Sightseeing around Cotillo is also a must! El Toston Lighthouse, a 19th century lighthouse with a small museum. It also has some amazing coastal views so a great place for a walk or picnic. Over towards Piedra Playa, El Castillo de El Tostón can be found. It is a small stone fortress that was built in the 18th century to defend the island against pirates.
