“Excited to open our gorgeous private retreats at ‘Cortijo Fuente Arriba’ in January 2023 after 7 months of renovations – please enjoy our reduced prices for our first few months of business. We look forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you. Welcome to Casa Rincon, meaning ‘corner’ in Spanish. Named for its tucked away location on our 2 acre finca. With its private dipping pool and mountain views – this is relaxing retreat that can comfortably accommodate four guests with everything you need for a self-catering break. Inside, there is a large porch leading onto a bright dining area and fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven, kettle, toaster and all the essentials for your self-catering break. This area is open plan to the wonderful lounge with a cosy corner sofa and wood burning stove perfect for those colder winter evenings. There are two bright bedrooms; one double and one twin that share a bathroom. Rincon’s best features are undoubtedly outside! There is a patio area to the rear where you will find the washing machine, airer etc. To the front, there is a gorgeous patio area with dining set and BBQ, a private above ground dipping pool (open May to October), a large area complete with four sun loungers and incredible views, and another lounge area with an outside sofa, perfect for reading a book in the sunshine. A starter kit of log is provided for the log burner. Dogs are all welcome at Fuente Arriba, but please note that none of our properties are escape proof. Please let us know when you book if you are planning on bringing your furry friend, there is a 15 euro additional cleaning fee per dog. In Lubrin you will find Tapas bars and Pizzerias, you can enjoy authentic Andalusian tapas and wine for two for as little as 15 euros. There are also 2 bakeries, 3 butchers and 2 supermarkets, plus a bazaar that can only be described as an Aladdin’s cave of goodies. If you amble into town on a Wednesday morning you will find a lovely market full of fresh fruit and veg, and a fish van that brings local seafood straight from the coast to your plate. There are beautiful clothing and accessories stalls and sweets too.
