We are Greta and Aurimas, a family from Lithuania who fell in love with Tenerife’s peaceful north and created a retreat to share with travelers from around the world. We love hiking in the green hills, exploring Garachico’s historic streets, and discovering hidden beaches. For us, hosting means sharing this magical place — where the ocean meets the mountains — and helping guests experience Tenerife like a local. Whether you’re here to relax, work remotely, or explore, we’ll make sure you feel at home.

Casa in the Clouds is located in Genovés, just above the beautiful coastal town of Garachico. This is the real Tenerife — surrounded by banana plantations, cactus fields, and lush mountains. Hiking lovers can explore nearby Chinyero’s lava fields or the dramatic Teno Mountains. Swimmers and divers will enjoy black-sand beaches and Garachico’s volcanic pools. For a taste of local life, visit nearby guachinches serving traditional wine and Canarian dishes such as octopus, goat stew, and fresh seafood.
