Hiekkapohjainen matala uimaranta,sopii myös pienille lapsille,Höytiäinen on valittu Suomen parhaaksi kuhajärveksi,myös muuta kalaa tulee hyvin uistelijoille.Rauhallinen sijainti omaa rantaa on paljon.
Arvostamme puhdasta luontoa,jätteiden lajittelua,melutonta mökillä oleskelua,pudasvetistä järveä,kuten Höytiäinen on.Mökimme kuuluu "MAAKUNTIN PARHAAT" ketjuun,johon pääsee vain parhaiten varustetut lomamökit.
Kolin luonnonsuojelualue on 30 km päässä,Kontiolahden AH-Biathlon stadion 25 km päässä.Lieksan puolella Eeva Ryynäsen ateljee,Enossa Patvinsuon nähtävyydet.Höytiäisellä runsaasti kalasaunoja,myös lomalaisten käyttöön.
