Founded in summer 2023, Aajatieva Wilderness Stay & Camping offers a range of cabins and apartments for 1–8 guests, each with different amenities. Our services include a minimarket, café-restaurant, and a gas station. The location was previously known as Fell Center Galdotieva. We are a small team, and we hope you’ll fall in love with this place that means so much to us.

At Aajatieva Wilderness Stay & Camping, you can stay in large or small cabins surrounded by wilderness scenery. On the shore of Lake Palojärvi, you’ll find our lakeside saunas, with separate men’s and women’s public sauna hours included in the accommodation price from June to September. Bed linen and towels are included in your booking. Bed-making service can be ordered for an additional fee. Our spacious two-story large cabins feature a kitchenette, shower, toilet, sauna, and fireplace. They are ideal for 1–8 guests. Beds are located in the downstairs living area (2 bunk beds) and the upstairs bedroom (4 single beds). Pets are welcome. The small cabins have electricity and a refrigerator but no running water. Guests staying in small cabins can use the showers and toilets in Aajatieva’s main building. Small cabins are suitable for 1–3 guests. Pets are welcome. In addition to accommodation, Aajatieva offers a minimarket, café and restaurant services, and a gas station.

Aajatieva Wilderness Stay & Camping is located above the conifer tree line, 27 km north of Enontekiö’s center, right on the shore of Lake Palojärvi. The village of Palojärvi is an old Sámi settlement where traditional reindeer herding is still practiced today. In summer, you can hike across treeless fells, go paddling, fishing, or cycling. In autumn, experience the breathtaking colors of the Arctic foliage on your hikes. In winter, enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing, marvel at the Northern Lights, and embrace the serene silence of the polar night by the glow of a campfire.
