The history of Varjola farm goes all the way back to 1880's. The history and stories can be seen and felt from the restored buildings as well as from the service. After five generations of successful farming, nowadays Varjola offers travel services with the same passion - we trust in traditions but seek to unite with new experiences.

Varjola offers wide variety of activities and nature treks! All our groups are small and safety procedures are always taking into account. Whether you are looking for adrenaline burst with safari or rafting, or relaxing nature experience on hiking or berry picking trek, we have choices for you. Enjoy nature, calming lakeland in Varjola. We offer outdoor programs for winter and summer, so you can feel calming snowy winter forest and also green and fresh lakeland summer. Our programs are done with over 20 years of experience, and you can find all equipments and necessary clothing from Varjola as well.

Varjola Resort & Activities is family-owned countryside small resort in Lakeland, near Jyväskylä city, only 30 minutes from Jyväskylä city center.
