Villa Vintage offers Scandinavian Design and cozy comfort in a perfect location between Rovaniemi city centre and the Arctic Circle, right next to Ounasvaara Ski Resort. All the most popular attractions and city services are only a 5–10 minute drive away. The villa comfortably accommodates larger groups and offers easy access to a variety of activities – from skiing, snowboarding and hiking to cycling and golfing. Nearby, you’ll also find a traditional winter sauna, the chance to experience ice swimming, and a cosy Lappish restaurant. The private yard provides the perfect spot for northern lights watching, snow play, or a refreshing cool-down in the snow after sauna. You might even spot reindeer wandering by! Sleds and sliders for downhill fun are available in the storage room. We’ll build a small slide once there’s enough snow :) The villa features beds for up to 7 guests, a spacious kitchen, an electric sauna, plenty of storage space, and a 55-inch TV. The walk-in closet includes children’s toys, and a travel cot is also available. Villa Vintage is perfectly located between Rovaniemi city centre and the Arctic Circle, right next to Ounasvaara Ski Resort and the golf course. The airport is only about a 10-minute drive away (a taxi ride costs around (25–30 euros). The restaurants and services of Rovaniemi city centre are just 3 kilometres from the villa. Only 450 metres away, you’ll find Restaurant Thulia, a cosy Lappish restaurant serving authentic Arctic flavours, and on the top of Ounasvaara hill, the elegant Sky Kitchen & View offers fine dining with panoramic views. The area boasts beautiful natural scenery and a wide range of outdoor activities all year round. In Ounasvaara, you can ski, snowboard, hike, and cycle. The ski resort also has a ski school and Rendi’s Snowland, a safe and fun area for children to sled and play in the snow. Down by the Kemijoki River (500 meter), you can experience the WNTR-sauna and ice swimming. The Santa Claus Golf course is just a few minutes’ walk from the villa. From Villa Vintage, it’s easy to reach Rovaniemi’s most popular attractions. Santa Claus Village and the Arctic Circle are only a 10-minute drive away. The Arktikum Science Centre, Korundi House of Culture, and Pilke Science Centre are all located within 4 kilometres. Families will love the Santasport Spa & Sports Resort, about 3.9 kilometres away. With a rental car or taxi, you can also explore further afield – for example, the stunning frozen waterfalls of Korouoma Canyon, located just over 100 kilometres from Rovaniemi, are an unforgettable winter destination.
