Ian and I moved here a few years ago from New Zealand to enjoy the wonderful French lifestyle while taking on the challenge of restoration of the chateau. Property information

A beautiful haven set in 27 acres of park-like grounds of a 16th century chateau with a difference. From your one bedroom detached gite, enjoy panoramic views over lake (enjoy swimming/fishing/picnics) and the exquisite countryside of the Dordogne. In easy reach of cities/towns such as Bergerac, Perigueux, Sarlat, Domme and Bordeaux, the latter being an easy day trip by car or train. One of the most sought after beautiful villages of France, the medieval village of Issigeac is a short drive away with all it markets, summer events and beautiful restaurants.

Neighbourhood information

So many wonderful villages to explore (besides towns/cities) wine trails, hidden gems of restaurants to experience. Beautiful country walks and next door an equestrian centre where you can book a country trek.
