First floor apartment with two bedrooms (10.5m2 and 12m2), bathroom and separate toilet. Spacious living area (22m2) with open plan kitchen. Balcony (18m2) overlooking communal swimming pool (open June - Sept 10:00 - 21:00 hours). Situated in a very calm and tranquil neighbourhood, the property offers free, secure off-road parking for one vehicle.
We look forward to personally welcoming our guests on arrival. We will be there to meet you with the keys, show you the apartment, and answer any questions you may have about the property and the local area. We have lived in the area since 2021 and can help you with recommendations for restaurants, activities and visits. Our aim is for you to have the most enjoyable stay possible.
The property is a stone's throw away from the Canal du Midi and roughly 10 minutes walk into Carcassonne town centre where you will find plenty of independent shops, restaurants and bars, etc. There are two bus stops for the airport shuttle (Navette) within a short distance. The famous Medieval City is located across town. Anyone interested in water sports, or just a lovely walk in nature, can find the Lac de la Cavayere 9km to the west of Carcassonne. For those wishing to explore further afield, aside from the bus services, the SNCF train station is within walking distance of the property and has regular services to Limoux, Toulouse, Narbonne, Perpignan and beyond.
