In 2004 we fell in love with the charm of this very old 'Champenoise' farm tucked away in the greenery of the surroundings countryside of the valley of this little river called 'Somme' in Marne area near the Champagne vineyard. In the heart of our home, we offer two spacious bedrooms and a family suite where you can experience the pleasures of our way of life. Equally we invite you to share our dining table either by the fireside or on the terrace so that you can enjoy our beautiful surrounding environment. Peace, Space and Nature, it's all for you to take advantage of.
We are based on Didier's grandparents' farm, who were farmers in the Champagne region. When Valérie stopped working as an environmental consultant to raise our children, we renovated the farmhouse, which includes a large longère (traditional long farmhouse) that we divided in two to accommodate guests. Little by little, all the farm buildings were renovated, culminating in the restoration of the courtyard, which has become a beautiful garden with a pond. The property covers one hectare and includes various areas to explore, from wooded areas to more natural spaces stretching down to the river below. We also cultivate a vegetable garden to provide produce for our table d'hôte (set menu). The table d'hôte is a way for us to deepen the connection we establish with our guests and for them to discover Valérie's culinary talents. lives are enriched by welcoming our guests, to whom we love to share the charms of our region.
