In the XIV century, the Chartreux monks from Bon Lieu decided to exploit the water power of the Herisson valley. The first settlement place was at the Saut Girard, where a watermill was build: that's where our house stands and where we will welcome you, the only building that remains after six centuries of man presence in the valley. Located at the border of the three former lordships, the one of the Carthusians monks, the one of the Cistercian monks and the one of the Eagle Lord, the place combines historical load, spiritual soul and telluric energy.
