Bacchus Grotto is located in an old village farm with Caves in the gardens. The backside of the house is connected to a 5,5 meter high cathedral cave. In that cave our wine bar and dining lounge offers you a romantic atmosphere. In our gardens, situated at the west side of the sun, we offer an outside dining area with wood fire planoha and grill. Our plunge pool is heated and open all year round. On the top of the caves we have a little vineyard with a fabulous view towards the Cru vineyards of Cairanne.
We love to welcome you in the Vaucluse and the charming old part of the village of Cairanne. We enjoy to cook for our guests and have been influenced by the Mediterranean style of kitchens. We have a great collection of Cru wines in our cellar and like to tell you all about it. We offer wine and truffle tourism and can drive you around in our Van du Pays Mercedes 508 army van.
Cairanne is centrally located in the northern part of the Vaucluse. 15 minutes from the A7, route du soleil, and within a half our from the Gard, Ardeche and Drome. Within 25 minutes you reach all Cru wine villages of the Southern Cotes du Rhone. The region offers a great collection of old Provencal villages and little cities. Like Grignan, Seguret, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, Vaison la Romaine, Orange and Carpentras. For every day of the week we will recommend our favorite Provencal markets.
